In a world where facts are giving way to viral narratives, Hypnocracy explores the mechanisms of soft manipulation that shape our beliefs. Written under the pseudonym Jianwei Xun by philosopher Andrea Colamedici, this investigative book combines criticism of attention technologies, reflection on post-truth, and performative editorial strategy.
The project, which fooled the press and readers before being revealed as an artistic operation, questions the boundaries between fiction, propaganda, and truth. A philosophical case study on our hypnotic era.
